HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR (T)

RECRUITMENT

 SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator (T) will be responsible for supporting hiring managers with recruitment and hiring by assisting in the full cycle of recruiting for the province of Ontario. The Human Resources Coordinator (T) is also responsible for coordinating and supporting various human resource programs, such as talent acquisition, retention, and various human resource functions. The ideal candidate for this role should be able to build strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external groups and demonstrate a keen interest in implementing improvement initiatives. 

SCOPE OF POSITION

*Support and follow up with the hiring directors of their recruitment needs for technical, administrative and executive positions *Play an advisory role during the entire hiring process (posting, interview, selection of candidates and reception) *Assist in human resources projects *Maintain the accuracy of recruitment dashboards *Research and apply effective retention strategies to reinforce BTS's high performance culture *Provide various reports and analyzes on human resources data *Presentation of projects and analyzes to management 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

*Excellent oral and written communication *Great attention to detail and able to manage multiple files at the same time in a dynamic environment *Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines *Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint *Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, promote continuous improvement and enjoy working in a team *Great ability to develop positive interpersonal relationships and interact with different hierarchical levels of the organization *Demonstrate leadership *Ability to work in a diverse workforce environment (unionized and non-unionized) *Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent training *1 to 3 years of experience in a recruitment role or related activities 
WORKING CONDITIONS

*100% telework during COVID. Initial office Etobicoke or Mississauga, ON *Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. *Status: Temporary non-union professional
