The Role
We are recruiting for a HR Administrator to be based in our Ipswich office, the role will embrace overall responsibility for providing efficient and effective administrative support to Human Resources. This role will focus upon maintaining and administering associates data by acting upon requests received and working through others to get results. Being able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team is essential in order to support the Group HR Strategy of Global HR Service Delivery and maximise the potential of the Company’s Human Resources Division.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities
To provide operational HR advice, guidance and support to Managers and Associates within agreed scope of responsibility
To provide a quality administrative service and efficient support to the HR Business Partners in respect to the following processes; senior/complex offers, complex amendments and redundancy, retirement and resignation in addition to maternity leave, parental leave, occupational health, temporary Associates and the annual salary review
To maintain accurate HR records – manual and computerised, accurately produce HR documentation in accordance with internal timeframes
To share information accurately and in a timely manner across HR Service Delivery, HR Partner’s and all HR departments as required
Use initiative and proactively contribute to the improvement of efficiency, problem resolution and development of Willis Towers Watson policies, practices and procedures
Be an active member of the team to enhance the teams’ ability to deliver consistent high quality service
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, Security, Safety, Health and Environmental responsibilities and external compliance regulation and legislation.
The Requirements
Knowledge and understanding of all key HR related issues, employment law and best practice in employment
Experience of maintaining an HRIS database such as Oracle
Working knowledge and experience of adhering to and providing guidance on company policies and procedures
Confident and effective communication and interpersonal skills at all organisational levels
Exceptional organisational/coordinating skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workload against competing demands and recognise the importance and relevance of tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and under pressure whilst analysing complex situations/data and identify options for action
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with good numerical skills
Proven experience of working with stakeholders and managing expectations
Previous experience of working within a busy HR environment
Experience of working on own initiative as well as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
