The Team
The Compensation & Benefits department is responsible for designing, optimizing, and executing the European PVH compensation strategy, philosophy, programs, policies, and initiatives. The C&B department is part of the European Headquarters in Amsterdam, acting as a Center of Excellence within the overall Human Resources department.
The Position
The Benefits Operations Specialist reports to the benefits pillar of the Compensation and Benefits team and is responsible for the overall execution of the operational Benefits processes. The position will support with the execution of all benefits-related programs for our associates, like Pension administration, Disability Insurance, Commuting Allowance, company car management, and employee discount administration. The Specialist, Benefits Operations will act as subject matter expert on benefit-related queries and will work closely with other HR teams on the execution of administrative transactions and processes, payroll, and associates’ records management in accordance with relevant policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, resolve and track Associates’ individual benefits -elated requests (cases) via People Services Portal (including but not limited to: public transport subscriptions, travel allowance, company car, pension, etc.). Liaise with Payroll, HR Advisors, and CoEs if needed to achieve resolution of Associates’ requests.
Manage the monthly pension process (enrollment, changes, deregistration, voluntary contributions, etc.) for our PVH pension schemes.
Manage end-to-end process for the disability insurances (WGA, WIA, and PAWW).
Responsible for monthly commuting allowance processing
Driving monthly processing and annual renewal of the travel products (NS/GVB), assuring data quality.
Responsible for the administration of Employee discount spend.
Lease car process management and administration.
Act as SME towards the 30% ruling applications (updating salary threshold requirements, tracking the change of conditions, and keeping all parties informed).
Support HR Compensation and Benefits CoE with coding and checking of invoices (Pension, NS, GVB, WGA, and WIA) as well as running regular audits to ensure correct invoicing.
Continuous improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for effective workforce administration: identify problems, make recommendations and implement change. Engage with the wider HR team to deliver various HR Operational projects (for example new policy implementation).
Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes (through up-to-date knowledge articles and an internal library of processes and procedures available to relevant stakeholders).
Help evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Work closely with the Compensation and Benefits CoE and HR Operations Manager on process improvement and participate in stakeholder meetings to provide input and feedback.
Share experience and knowledge with the team and support the continued development of all HR Ops colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate:
Transactional and technical knowledge in HR Benefits Administration.
Ability to work with policies and documents written in Dutch
Strong analytical and excel skills.
Proven ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment.
Outstanding attention to detail and professionalism.
Excellent communication skills and outstanding customer service.
Self-driven and enjoys a fast-paced customer service environment.
A clear understanding of process interdependencies, HR policies and guidelines.
Ability to learn quickly, analyze information and exercise good judgment.

Experience with Workday is a plus.
