Payroll Analyst','Full-time','Professional Non-Clinical','1','1','80','80','None','None','KENTUCKY-ERLANGER-NATIONAL OFFICE ERLANGER','','!*!Payroll Analyst will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and that expenses are posting accurately to the general ledger. This role will work closely with the Payroll Operations Supervisor ensuring day to day operational activities are being performed in accordance with the standards and processes that have been defined.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs data analysis to ensure accurate and timely production of bi-weekly and off-cycle correction payrolls.
Assists Payroll Supervisor in managing escalated cases to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
Performs data analysis, using reports from case management system, utilized for monthly metric reporting on case types, volume, and identifying trends.
Works closely with Payroll Operations Supervisor to ensure coordination of analysis, implementation of key organizational projects and continuous improvement activities.
Works closely with outsource third party vendor for garnishment administration including interpretation, entry in the payroll system, and disbursement
Assists with reconciliation and timely cash transfer of MBO funds to Payroll Operations after for biweekly and off-cycle payrolls.
Complete analysis of system configuration during new implementations and analysis of pay data for the first payroll after implementation. Assist in analysis of final payrolls for groups divesting.
Assist with periodic and annual external and internal audit requests
Manages inquiries from National and MBOs financial teams related to general ledger payroll interfaces including identifying root cause and determining resolution
Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure compliance with CHI policies and legislative requirements.

Associates degree required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3 to 5 years of experience in centralized and multi-state environment required
Knowledge of payroll fundamentals, Knowledge of HIPPA required
