Employee Services and Payroll Specialist
An opportunity has arisen for the role of Employee Services & Payroll Team Member, reporting to the Employee Services & Payroll Manager in Shared Services, Limerick. The key objective of team members within the team is the timely, accurate and efficient processing and maintenance of data inputs within the Recruit to Retire work stream enabling timely payroll processing and delivery of excellent customer outputs as set out below. Part of this role will be supporting in the contracts space. This will involve ensuring employee contracts are processed accurately and on time, and that all information is captured and updated to the systems in a timely and accurate manner .
You will be liaising with employees, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Heads of HR and other individuals across the company to ensure employee contracts are created and issued, on time, every time.
This role will be offered on a permanent basis.
This role is based in Limerick.
Responsibility
Process all fortnightly payrolls.
Ensure compliance requirements (Revenue - PAYE, PRSI, USC, other and Pensions) are dealt with correctly and timely.
Process and manage pension activity including set up, pension queries and pension reporting.
Manage day to day relationship with pension administrators and other third-party benefit providers. working closely with the HR, Group Head of Reward.
Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters surrounding this role.
Participate in team meetings providing input to decisions and discussions, this extends across the broader Shared Services team and co-located HR teams.
Demonstrate commitment to the company and Shared Services vision, purpose and goals and live the company values daily.
Procedure development, process enhancement and technology improvements in conjunction with manager and key stakeholders with delivery of continual improvement initiatives.
Champion and operate excellent customer service within the team and wider unit.
Actively identify and participate on training and development requirements and opportunities to enable a fully cross functional team and ensure continuity of service to all customers.
Use case management software to capture, investigate and respond within timescales to queries (employee, business, HR).
Provide support to HR including issuing of contracts to new entrants to the business, internal mover capture
Ensure efficient and effective follow up action is completed and where required collaborate with other areas to close out the case or escalate to achieve closure.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, scheduling and participating in regular meetings with active close out of agreed actions.
Monitor and report on trends with a view to identifying corrective action to proactively eliminate recurring issues which are giving rise to repetitive queries and or concerns for employees.
As a reliable and proactive partner, provide key service support to HR including, internal movers capture and system updating, employee set up on Oracle HR, employee support services and leaver processing.
Robustly maintain employee and HR records up to date and accurate on Oracle HR facilitating critical reporting in support of the business and accurate processing of payrolls.
Ensure document management and maintenance in accordance with Shared Services quality management system and statutory document retention requirements.
Reporting on People and HR data, to include regular quality checks on master data
Qualifications
IPASS qualification is desirable
Experience in a technical capacity on Oracle E-Business Suite 12i is also required
Excellent analytical skills and software experience (Oracle, SharePoint, MS Office)
Demonstrated system administration knowledge
Proven analytical and problem resolution skills

Substantial experience relevant to the role including strong payroll and customer service experience
