SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Director will be responsible for managing full life cycle of employees and temporary workers (from job creation to post-termination matters). He/she originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide a high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Human Resources required, Master's Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Development or similar is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' progressive work experience in a management level, HR generalist role required
Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
Experience with working in a manufacturing environment
Proficient knowledge of California and federal employment and payroll laws
Proficient working knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrates high integrity and ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive matters/materials
Detail-oriented and ability to demonstrate highly accurate work
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to demonstrate effective communication with a diverse group and multiple levels of the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to work with a diverse group of individuals with objectivity and fairness, while promoting transparency, accountability and a cohesive team environment.
Strong and proactive work ethic, and ability to work effectively in team and individual settings
Strong organizational and time management skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
