What We’re Looking For:
The Instructional HR Associate will ensure a world class experience for our instructional community with a primary focus on frontline payroll and HR support. No single factor has a greater impact on the student experience than the instructional staff that support them on a daily basis. Investing in a positive experience for instructors delivers positive, life changing results for our students.
This position will contribute to the instructor experience by supporting new hires as they navigate the required onboarding and compliance steps necessary for set up in the payroll system. The HR Associate will continue to support instructional staff by making themselves an expert in our workforce management system (Skedulo), payroll related processes, and responding directly to instructional staff issues. They will coordinate across departments and work with the appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues and eliminate future problems.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Assisting instructional staff in utilizing employee benefits such as Paid Sick and Safe Leave.
Assisting instructional staff in completing compliance and onboarding tasks including both direct support and ensuring there are clear directions available.
Working with the tech team to write requirements and perform UAT testing to identify and automate repetitive manual tasks.
Analyzing payment details and providing quarterly reports to instructional delivery leadership to clearly outline instructional staff payment trends and provide recommendations on areas for improvement.
Managing a support queue and providing assistance to instructional staff experiencing issues or questions related to their compensation.
Tracking and analyzing trends in support cases and contributing to developing long term strategies to eliminate recurring issues.
Creating processes and systems that help solve common issues faced by instructional teams and socializing those processes to relevant teams.
Assisting in creating messaging and templates for important announcements and/or updates regarding compensation.
Auditing scheduling data and flagging potential inconsistencies before the data is processed by the payroll team.
Collaborate directly with IHR, Payroll, and Academic Managers to create a supportive experience for our instructional team members.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
At least 2 years relevant work experience. (Experience working with Payroll and/or HR strongly preferred.)
Experience working with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets)
Strong communication skills (written and oral) and proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituents in a number of different settings.
Exceptional customer service orientation, ability to tailor approach for different audiences.
Demonstrated ability to generate creative solutions.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to make timely decisions and demonstrate good judgment.
Agility and willingness to adapt to change, shift course, alter approaches and assume new responsibilities in a fast paced environment.

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $50,000 with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
