Position Summary



 


This role will be involved in the design, delivery and administration of local and regional benefit programs across all our offices, covering Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific (APAC), Brazil and Mexico.

Duties and Accountabilities



 


Support the Senior International Benefits Manager, Global Benefits Director, regional HR Directors and other HR Managers in the EMEA, APAC, Brazil and Mexico offices for development and management of local office benefits schemes, including:


Day-to-day management of existing local, regional and global benefit programs, including working closely with local HR teams on benefit renewals to ensure our benefits are current, competitive and compliant with legislative requirements
Ongoing monitoring of legislative requirements to identify any areas of potential risk or impact to the Firm
Maintenance of an ongoing inventory of all benefits and benefit renewals
Primary contact for all benefit vendors, proactively managing benefit providers, consultants and administrators
Develop strong relationship with local People Advisory, Partner Resources and HR Shared Services teams to ensure local benefit needs are addressed for Partners and employees
Internal project lead for renewals and implementations of Benefits Technology in each country, to include Total Rewards Statements and flexible benefits technology where appropriate
Supporting the Senior Manager with special projects such as provider reviews, new benefit implementations and benefit changes
Assistance with drafting business cases for benefit changes to be presented to senior stakeholders within the Firm
Drafting and/or review of employee and Partner communications to ensure robust, accurate and compliant communication materials for promotion of and description of all benefit programs offered
Establishing and maintaining efficient processes and procedures within the central benefits team and with the HR Shared Services team, based in Manila.  Continually review and assess in order to improve, streamline and enhance accuracy through re-engineering or establishing new methodologies focused on process improvement
Annual responsibility for developing and monitoring benefits budgets for local offices
Accountable for the due diligence for any new country expansions by conducting review of regulatory requirements and market practice to recommend benefits to be implemented





Essential Job Requirements



 



Should have extensive knowledge of the EMEA, APAC, Brazil and Mexico labor markets, including understanding of mandated and supplemental benefit offerings, ideally gained in both consulting and corporate environments
Proficient Project Management and benefits administration capabilities
Excellent client engagement, service and management skills
Strong and demonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail
Strategic mindset with ability to consider perspectives of various stakeholders and consideration of intended and unintended consequences of any changes
Experience working with more junior team members and ability to delegate tasks as appropriate
Knowledge of benchmarking products and services
Strong presentation skills, including delivery of presentations to decision makers and business leaders and to your peer group on new/improved/changed benefit offerings
Ability to engage colleagues at all levels through interpersonal, influencing, facilitation, presentation and communication skills
Strong commercial skills; able to understand the value of a contract, analyze the impacts of change providing alternative cost management options, ensure investments are valid and provide the best option for our employees and Partners
Experience in the legal or professional services markets a plus, with the candidate having or being able to quickly develop a strong understanding of the business
Ability to travel to other offices within EMEA and APAC as required

Qualifications



 


Strong track record of international benefits
Some pensions administration experience, ideally within the markets to be managed
Experience with benefits technology, including flexible benefits platforms
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of global market trends, cultural and competitive practices and legislation
Ability to multi-task, compile priorities and perform tasks with minimum supervision
Knowledge of HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience in plan design, implementation and interpreting policies
Experience in benefit compliance and vendor management
Must be a Team Player and work well with peers
