Tyco has launched several global initiatives that will transform the way Human Resources functions are delivered. We are implementing a global Workday human resources application to provide comprehensive system of record for all employees. We are in the process of rolling out a global Taleo recruiting application, HR Portal, and we will also implement a global learning management application. To achieve this, we require innovative and dedicated leaders who provide strategic planning, tactical direction, team building and day-to-day oversight. The overarching goal is to build a central team with a forward-thinking operation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing IT project teams including end user and third party provider activities pertaining to the design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation of application product and services.
Utilize project management processes and methodologies for IT that ensures projects are delivered on-time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet the customer’s expectations.
Under general supervision, overall management of team and assigned projects, including coordination, status reports, and stability of the project work effort; manage financial, scope, and critical path for assigned projects.
Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet customer needs and requirements.
Coordinate communication with all enterprise areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the project.
Utilize and implement project management processes and methodologies for IT that ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet the customer’s expectations
Partner with senior management in the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities to utilize IT to achieve enterprise goals.
Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
Works directly with partners and clients to determine project scope and specifications.
Reviews progress, manages resources, and ensures overall deliverable quality.
Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in Project Management methodologies, Resource Management practices and Change Management techniques.
Experience working on Global HCM implementations
Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present to management
Understanding and experience in Core HR information systems
Deep Core HR Functional experience
Experience in process standardization
Experience with application configuration
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Highly self-motivated and detail oriented

Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess clients’ needs
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
Qualifications:
5 years experience with systems implementation and transformational experience
Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience
Advanced degree preferred
Workday HCM, Oracle HRIM, Peoplesoft HCM, Taleo experience or training preferred
