Summary:
This position is responsible for the management and delivery of performance programs in support of the business and talent strategy. This includes overall program management of goal setting and year-round performance activities. This role requires cross functional collaboration and engagement with all levels of the organization to educate on the programs and benefits while also identifying ongoing areas of focus and opportunity.
Responsibilities Include:
· Manage the performance strategy that meets and serves the current and future corporate goals
· Constantly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of current performance strategy and seek to improve
· Research and analyze trends in performance management in order to identify opportunities for intelligent design, innovation and automation, linking outputs to what is happening in the business and wider industry
· Work with subject matter experts to build programs and ensure quality and priority of performance journeys, and ensure best practices applied to the experiences
· Critically analyze performance process in order to drive improvements and inform strategies
· Promote a collaborative work environment embodying the vision to create performance programs that are innovative and keep the workforce ready for the future while successfully addressing business needs
· Establish goal setting and performance activity cadence
· Cascade executive team’s strategic business goals
· Build materials to provide guidance on the tailoring of specific functional goals based on overall performance strategy
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience: 6 years relevant work experience
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and implement performance strategies across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
Special Skills: Significant knowledge in performance management activities; Ability to drive improvement and integration of processes, technology, and people
Supervisory: Yes, this person will lead a small team
Travel: 5-10 domestic trips per year.
