Summary:
This position is responsible for the management and delivery of strategic learning programs in support of the business and talent strategy. This includes overall program management for learning curriculum that is relevant and necessary for team members to be effective at their jobs. The key objective in all curriculum development is to drive accelerated integration into teams and to be able to immediately utilize all learning experiences on the job following the training programs. This role requires cross functional collaboration and engagement with all levels of the organization to both educate on the programs and benefits while also identifying ongoing areas of focus and opportunity.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage the learning strategy that will build, train, and sustain the workforce to meet and serve the current and future corporate goals
Constantly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and seek to improve the sourcing of learning content creation (in-house vs. external), internal learning operations, and the learner experience
Research and analyze trends in learning in order to identify opportunities for intelligent design, innovation and automation, linking outputs to what is happening in the business and wider industry
Work with subject matter experts to build programs and ensure quality and priority of learning journeys, and ensure learning best practices applied to the experiences
Critically review the learning catalog to analyze performance and budget to drive improvements and inform learning strategies
Promote a collaborative work environment embodying the vision to create learning programs that are innovative and keep the workforce ready for the future while successfully addressing business needs
Ensure a consistent worker experience through their learning ecosystem.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience: 6 years relevant work experience
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and implement learning strategy across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
Special Skills: Significant knowledge in managing learning and educational curriculum; Ability to drive improvement and integration of processes, technology, and people
Supervisory: Yes, this person will lead a small team
Travel: 5-10 domestic trips per year.
