2497689 - Recruitment Business Partner (Farnborough / Chelmsford / Remote, UK) We’re Hiring! Aon is currently recruiting a Recruitment Business Partner to join our team in Chelmsford, Farnborough or Remote/Homebsed in the UK.  The Recruitment Business Partner will be primarily work in partnership with HR and the divisional hiring managers to deliver an effective recruitment and induction process, taking full ownership of the end to end resourcing process, with a key focus on reducing cost, improving the candidate screening and quality, ensuring hiring manager awareness and identifying opportunities for further resourcing process efficiencies going forward. This role can be based from our Farnborough or Chelmsford office (flexibility to work from home) OR can be remotely / homebased in the UK.  Coming into the office will be based on the need to collaborate, work together, or when something might be better achieved in the office, all of which is under pinned by the needs of the team, our clients and individual colleagues! About Aon Headquartered in London, Aon Plc is the leading provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage and a global leader in human capital and management consulting. With an employee base of 59,000 people working in 500 offices in more than 120 countries, we can anticipate how changes in one sector affect another. About the Role As a Recruitment Business Partner some of your key responsibilities will involve; Hiring Manager AwarenessPartner with the HRBPS to ensure that Resource Planning is in evidence for the business divisionHold regular meetings with hiring managers to update them about the recruitment process, vacancy status reports, recruitment best practice, and competitor informationIdentify other ways to promote the resourcing process and service offered through regular update meetings, clear information on the Knowledge Exchange, email bulletinsContinuous Improvement of resourcing requirements processTake full ownership of all vacancies to manage the requisitions process and the approval workflow.  Ensure that all requisitions are processed, approved efficiently and through working with the business, close requisitions where necessaryProvide hiring managers with regular updates on the status of their requisitions.Conduct client engagement meetings for all requisitions that are raised to build in-depth knowledge of the role, the business area and to define recruitment strategiesManage the recruitment marketing and sourcingWork in partnership with the hiring managers to create effective, high quality role profiles including person specificationsConduct surveys and research to establish suitable advertising opportunities and advertise all roles in most appropriate media, including internally and Aon careers siteResearch the market to identify the best way to market the roles and advise managers accordinglyWork with the managers to produce meaningful, accurate and attractive adverts for job boardsConduct CV mining on appropriate job boards to identify direct candidatesPromote the Employee Referral Scheme and manage candidates through this sourceWork with the manager to ensure efficient recruitment of market direct candidatesPartner with agencies to source candidates where necessary and engage them in a timely mannerConduct and facilitate screening and selectionPartner with managers to agree job specific screening questions for the application form and telephone interviewsScreen all applications and conduct telephone interviews, assessing candidates’ general suitability for the role and ‘fit’ with Aon.  Confidently sell the role and the benefits of working at Aon.  Present managers with an appropriate shortlist.Work with Resourcing Co-ordinator to schedule face to face interviews with hiring managersFeedback to candidates on recruitment decisionsOffer and Induction co-ordinationWork in partnership with HR direct and the hiring manager to co-ordinate the offer process to ensure candidates get accurate and attractive offers quickly.Stay in regular contact with candidates and managers throughout the process to ensure smooth recruitment and induction including ensuring all paperwork is complete and received and that all equipment and arrangements are readyUndertake any other duties as required and agreed with the Resourcing ManagerResponsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company About You As a Recruitment Business Partner your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Good knowledge of relevant business area (Re)InsuranceExtensive best practice recruitment and induction experienceExtensive knowledge of recruitment systems ideally iCIM’sSearch/headhunting experienceResults orientation, influencing and communication skillsSalary and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary and bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 25 days holiday.
