■THE POSITION

■THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
This position is ideal for an experienced talent management professional with a passion for all areas of talent acquisition including employer branding, sourcing, candidate assessment, candidate offers and negotiations, and onboarding.
The ideal candidate will possess:
» Experience participating in the design and implementation of innovative human resources programs and systems which anticipate and respond to organizational issues and that are employee-service oriented.
» Experience supervising others including mentoring, providing technical direction, and evaluating the work of employees.
» The ability to work in a fast-paced environment; managing time; balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities effectively.
■QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with major course work in human resources management, organizational development, psychology, business/public administration, or a related feld.
Experience:
Seven (7) years of experience developing and delivering human resources programs and services, including two years of supervisory experience.
■ POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Talent Acquisition Leader will strategize and implement a comprehensive suite of programs and activities that optimize talent sourcing and recruitment efforts, and ensure the agency reaches market-leader status with respect to total rewards.
» Provide strategic and operational leadership for applicant sourcing, full-cycle recruiting, candidate selection, and onboarding activities for all new and open SANDAG positions.
» Advise and consult with Executives, managers, and recruitment team members on hiring market conditions, sourcing strategies, outreach and advertising activities, selection methods, and compensation particularly for highly technical and other niche/hard to fll vacancies.
» Design and implement robust candidate attraction and talent pipeline development activities that are a blend of proactive sourcing and traditional application submittal processes.

■ COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The Talent Acquisition Leader position has a salary range of $92,073 - $142,714 per year.
