Ice Miller is seeking a professional for our Recruiting Coordinator position to coordinate the daily recruiting tasks for business professional positions in all Ice Miller markets. Successful candidates will be eager to build efficiencies within the recruiting function and build connections across the Firm. The employee will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and maintain confidentiality due to the nature of the position.
Essential Duties:
•Coordinate daily recruiting efforts for business professional positions across Ice Miller markets
•Interview candidates and consult with hiring managers regarding recommendations and next steps
•Manage recruiting projects as assigned by the Human Resources Manager
•Liaise with hiring managers regarding position requirements
•Manage job descriptions for business professional positions
•Serve as the point of contact for recruiting agencies and review contracts to align with Firm standards
•Utilize recruiting platforms and technology to attract candidates
•Track recruiting budget in communication with Human Resources Manager
•Administer the Firm’s Predictive Index tool
•Coordinate opportunities to build connections with Universities and other organizations to develop a pipeline of talent
•Liaise with Recruiting Assistant to ensure tasks are completed such as interview scheduling, collecting candidate materials, etc.
•Execute internal transfer and promotion offers for business professionals and ensure information is communicated across departments as needed
•Review compensation for new hires based on Firm and candidate data and liaise with candidates and Human Resources Manager regarding offer negotiations and revisions
•Coordinate internship programs for business professionals
•Train employees on interview best practices and track completion of training modules
•Stay up to date on recruiting best practices and market trends for process improvement
•Promote a diverse and inclusive recruiting process to ensure all candidates have a positive experience that aligns with Firm values
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree required
•2 years of experience in Human Resources related field required
•Previous experience working with HRIS or ATS systems preferred
•Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse group of people
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity as appropriate to each situation and demonstrate a high degree of diplomacy
•Ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple projects
•Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
•Ability to complete all essential job duties
