LITIGATION PARALEGAL - (Princeton Office)

Hill Wallack LLP has an immediate opening for a litigation paralegal in our Princeton office. Candidate should have 2-4 years previous experience in civil litigation. Experience in employment law or construction and business litigation is a plus.

Essential functions and job duties include:

Review and file documents

Understand the role of electronically stored information (ESI) in the discovery process and be able to manage discovery involving ESI

Identify relevant information, witnesses, third party documents and information to subpoena

Prepare discovery, court papers and trial binders

Prepare subpoenas, letters, public records request, and authorizations

Work with preferred vendors for record retrieval, expert retention, depositions/court reporters, private investigators

Schedule depositions, client meetings, and witness interviews

Prepare discovery requests, responses, and summaries of the same

Summarize various records (medical; employment; tax; educational; surveillance, etc.)

Gather relevant documents for attorney’s use in upcoming depositions, meetings, telephone conferences, trial etc.

WestlawNext research to retrieve cases, locate witnesses and obtain background information

Ability to check a brief for proper case citations and quotations

Social media research

Bill and enter time

Maintain and follow a diary system for compliance and meeting deadlines

Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills; be familiar with outlook, word and other electronic platforms such as e-courts. Must have certification from accredited paralegal program or BA degree.

PARALEGAL - FORECLOSURE DEPARTMENT (Yardley Office)

Our Yardley office is seeking a full-time paralegal for its Foreclosure/Creditors' Rights Group. Candidate must have experience in residential foreclosure and/or bankruptcy and be a self-starter, have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Must possess the ability to prioritize, work as part of a team, and have excellent written and verbal skills. Experience with Black Knight, Tempo and LPS preferred. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - BANKRUPTCY DEPARTMENT (Princeton Office)

Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant in bankruptcy. This individual must have experience in representing residential mortgage servicers. TRADEMARK PARALEGAL/ASSISTANT (Princeton Office)

Strong administrative background with trademark experience required. Duties include managing docketing software, preparing documents and communications specific to trademarks and patents. Facilitate and schedule meetings. Manage follow-ups and deadlines. Interface with attorneys, clients, agents and inventors. Knowledge of and experience with USPTO Trademark and Patent database. Attention to detail, resourceful, self-starter with can do winning attitude and desire to constantly learn and succeed in the practice of law as a career.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with IP matters related to prosecution, litigation, deposition and trial prep, primarily involving Trademarks

Prep filings with TEAS and PAIR

Correspond and interact with opposing counsel, federal agents, clients, potential clients, foreign counsel and vendors

Document review, proof reading, editing and formatting

Maintaining calendars and communicating with attorneys to meet deadlines

Assisting with business development, marketing and client retention

Assisting with case management, maintenance and organization of files
