RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior Benefits Specialist provides comprehensive and administrative support to the Company in regards to benefits administration.
Responsible for CONUS and OCONUS (U.S. and overseas employees) participant account maintenance to ensure accuracy in enrollment, payroll, and benefit files
Oversees the daily administration and tracking of FMLA, Medical Paid Leave, STD, LTD, and VTL
Assists new and existing employees in completion of their health, dental, life, 401(k), and all other related benefit plans
Research and answer benefits questions
Assist with benefit orientation and open enrollments
Perform annual and periodic audits
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred
One or more years of benefits administration experience in all phases of employee benefits
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Experience in ADP and other applicable database programs preferred
Utilizes effective oral and written communication abilities with all levels of the organization
Uses strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
Must possess problem solving skills with an analytical thought process, in resolving issues regarding benefit claims, etc
Requires ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
