Duties
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical support to
the Human Resources function firm wide, handling data management, analysis,
reporting and auditing.
Maintain Absence Management
System, including running quarterly close programs, ensuring that Firm
Policy is correctly implemented, providing knowledge and support to others
in the Firm regarding Absence Management issues, and overseeing data imports.
Support the data aspects of
the Support Staff annual review and year-end bonus processes, including
providing relevant information to Firm Managers/Directors, ensuring that
bonus and review data is accurately recorded in Lawson, coordinating with
the payroll Department to ensure that accurate salary and bonus information
is captured, and providing support to HR professionals in all offices.
Support the setup of the performance
management system in preparation for the annual and off-cycle reviews.
Analyzes existing HR data management
processes and proposes and implements improvements where needed.
Work closely with NY HR, IT
and other departments in coordinating the testing and implementation of
enhancements to Lawson, viDesktop, or other related applications.
Develop database reports using
standard reporting tools and Crystal Reports.
Coordinate Lawson groups, including
the maintenance of existing groups as well as the creation of new groups.
Participate in data audits.
Required
REQUIREMENTS
3 years of related HRIS experience
within a law firm or professional services organization
Working knowledge of an integrated
HRIS system, PC databases and spreadsheets (Crystal Reports, Lawson).
Proficiency using MS Outlook,
Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong project management skills,
as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong interpersonal, verbal
and written communication skills
The ability to multitask, work
well under pressure, complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner,
and maintain confidentiality
Bachelor's Degree
Flexibility to work overtime,
as needed
