Duties
SUMMARY:
The Associate Director of Legal Recruiting
is responsible for helping implement the recruiting strategy for the Firm’s
summer associate program. This role will focus on developing and implementing
comprehensive recruiting strategies to ensure the Firm is attracting and
hiring top talent. This individual will lead the Firm’s Legal Recruiting
marketing and communication efforts, including development of strategies
for summer associate recruiting and 1L outreach.
DUTIES:
Facilitate Career Services and Law School
relationship building and engagement
Promote the Firm’s presence on Law School
Campuses
Evaluate and develop sponsorship strategy
at each law school and oversee sponsorship efforts,
Manage 1L event planning and various campus
events and programming, including OCI
Assist in ensuring the Firm’s marketing materials
align with overall recruiting strategy, including promotional and educational
pieces, industry surveys, internal messaging, website, etc.
Assist with integration of recruiting efforts
across offices
Help with developing annual budget and oversight
of related expenses
Assist with in-office interview experience,
including candidate and attorney scheduling process
Help manage the Firm’s profile on campus and
build strategic relationships with law schools
Assist with agenda-setting and participate
as a member of the Associates Committee
Assist with Legal Personnel, Professional
Development and D&I related functions as needed
Required
4-5 years of related law firm experience required
Advanced degree required; JD preferred with
2 years of practice
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent collaboration and organizational
skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Strong attention to detail
Ability to self-direct, think creatively,
multitask, analyze needs and implement solutions
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
with professionals at all levels; team-oriented and willing to contribute
as needed on unexpected projects or requests
Strong judgment and ability to respect, protect,
and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and
comfortable working in web-based databases/software, e.g. viRecruit
