POSITION PROFILE
The Human Resources Department at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a creative, organized, and energetic problem solver to join its team as a Human Resources Coordinator. This is a paid temporary position to help with covering a leave of absence and is an outstanding opportunity for a young professional looking to gain experience.
We are looking for is a self-starter with a willingness to work with our team and develop those skills that can lead to future employment. You will be given opportunities to learn new processes and technologies that are important to Knoll and typical for many companies. This role will work primarily with our Director of Human Resources at Holly Hunt and VP of Human Resources at Knoll. Inc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific projects include, but may not be limited to:
Assist in the recruiting process to include: reviewing resumes in our applicant tracking system, distributing resumes to hiring managers, completing phone interviews for chosen candidates, scheduling interviews and following up with candidates
Work with hiring managers and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Talent Acquisition team to complete offer letters and onboarding and offboarding processes
Filing and personnel file clean-up
Respond to questions from employees and managers on HR policies, processes and systems.
Processes salary changes along with HRIS including merit increases, promotions, scheduled step increases and communicate changes to Payroll
Provide HR support in the areas of performance management by providing guidance to associates and management.
Assist in tracking leaves of absence (STD/LTD/FML)
Assist with mail and package distribution weekly
Prepare miscellaneous reports and memos as requested
Assist in HR project rollouts as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Demonstrates creative problem-solving to resolve issues in a timely manner
Strong written and presentation skills, with the ability to explain information in an organized and concise way
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet challenging deadlines
Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with HRIS, Applicant Tracking and Onboarding Systems preferred
Autonomous with the ability to work in a team-driven environment
Required Experience
Enrolled in or completion of an undergraduate degree program with a Human Resources or Business Administration major, preferred
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness
Self-starter and able to work well independently with honesty and integrity
