Loader 3rd Shift - Starting 15/hr Job

JOB SUMMARY:
A Loader places cabinets and parts into a trailer using hand dollies and pallet jacks. They ensure that the load is correct and secure for transport.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Packaging cabinets while on the assembly line moving
* Using the strapping machine to secure box for loading
* Use scanning system to ensure correct components are assembled
* Read & interpret production labels for loading purposes
* Scan cabinets & parts before loading for accuracy purposes
* Load cabinets into trailers following the Handling, Staging, & Loading requirements
* Occasionally use a pallet jack to move skids of parts for loading
* Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping for yourself and your team
* Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to learn & follow all HSL requirements
* Ability to identify wood species, finishes, cabinet types, color variances, etc.
* Ability to use basic math concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
* Ability to use & read a standard tape measure
Required Education & Experience:
* High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Required Physical Ability:
* Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
* Frequent bending, crouching, pulling & pushing
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. & occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Working in an indoor environment with excessive hot, humid, and cold temperatures.
* Protective safety gear will be required including safety glasses, gloves, and other.
* The noise level is usually moderate to high.
* Occasional overtime and weekend work, required.
