We are seeking a Recruiter I for a very important client.
This role is based at our Headquarters in the West Loop of Chicago, with easy access to Union and Ogilvie train stations. Reporting to the Internship Program and University Relations Manager, the University Relations Specialist will perform a variety of activities in support of the company?s campus recruitment strategy for interns and new graduates. This position is a 3-6 month contract to hire.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with registering employees for events, coaching attendees, and distributing event materials events
Help facilitate the appropriate diverse selection of recruiters/team members attending Career Fairs/Campus Events
Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure attendees have all the necessary events information
Update and manage career fair and events tracker and internal campus recruiting landing page
Research, identify, develop and maintain relationships with career service representatives, diverse on campus student groups, faculty and other key stakeholders
Plan and execute campus events for recruitment and relationship building (i.e.,information sessions, resume review, mock interviewing, etc.)
Assist with developing and maintaining keep warm and outreach communications for newly identified university and external partners (i.e., career service representatives, key faculty, club leaders and other key stakeholders, diversity organizations)
Research, identify, develop and maintain relationships with external campus organizations and partners keeping diversity and inclusion top of mind
Assist with managing the Employee Brand Ambassador Program
Assist with compiling the year-end results summary to HR leadership
Think outside the box on creative ways to engage with students and be prepared to present those ideas
Provide additional support where needed to the University Relations Specialist
Requirement:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree required
1-3 years of work experience, preferably in campus recruitment or program coordinator
Strong attention to detail; very organized
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to plan and organize effectively
Ability to make sound recommendations
Knowledge of Google and Microsoft applications
