Scope:
As HR Generalist, develop, manage, coordinate, and administer a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities so that the organisation attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. Areas to support: Sandvik Coromant Solid Round Tools PU, Walter Tools India - SU, Sandvik Coromant Finance and other Common Services, TDM Systems.
Key Performance areas:
Provide HR strategic, tactical and generalist support to employees and managers
Responsible for using the judgment and discretion to interpret policies and procedures and apply them appropriately for the situation.
Responsible for offering coaching, advice and guidance to managers to actively raise their
understanding of and expertise in people management and HR issues.
Responsible for providing face to face support to managers in complex situations. Establish standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administrations.
Responsible for ensuring the HR delivery model is reinforced.
Responsible for Recruitment process (selection, offer, onboarding, etc).
Support the Talent management process by implementing Talent Development programs.
Support the Performance Management, Annual Salary and Off Cycle Review.
Effectively execute the global and local HR initiatives as per the agreed timelines.
Support SEmp, QPulse and other local Engagement Survey processes.
Support the employee life cycle management process.
Responsible for planning, preparation & management of MIS & Analytics.
Facilitate the design & execution of Learning plans for the responsible group of employees / department.
Responsible for managing and handling transactions in Workday system and other local systems.
Support managers with the design and implementation of the employee reward & recognition programs.
Support the Expatriate Management and Mobility process if required.
Responsible for HR related compliance, local audits management.
Work closely with common HR functions to ensure the to follow The Sandvik Way.
Whenever needed, liaise with Industrial Relations team to support managers on the shop floor.
Your Profile:
Goal oriented with solid ability to get results through others
Experience working in a cross functional, matrix environment
Strong planning and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills and capability to execute independently
Knowledge and experience in managing external and internal relationships
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
8-10 years relevant experience working in Human Resources
University degree with specialisation in Human Resources
This position reports to – HR Manager - Sandvik Coromant, India.
