We are seeking a Technical Copy Writer - Quality Control for a very important client.

How will you make an impact?

This position is under the direction of the Advanced Process Engineering Manager and includes responsibilities related to manufacturing equipment documentation and certification. The qualified candidate will have the ability to work alongside engineers in a technical environment.

What will you do?

This position is responsible for technical equipment documentation such as: specifications, certifications, qualifications, and manuals. This position supports machine build projects in authoring and maintaining technical documentation and will often be involved in reviews and approvals.

Specific duties will include:

Configure Microsoft SharePoint webpages and upload and organize new and existing content.
Create manufacturing equipment, maintenance, and process documentation standards and templates.
Convert existing documents and consolidate scattered information and expound content as needed.
Requirement:
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Education
Technical degree (e.g. BSME) is a plus

Experience
1 years demonstrated technical writing experience
Demonstrated experience in creating technical documentation supplemented with illustrations and video
Working with engineering or other technical professionals
Direct responsibility for technical documentation authoring and maintenance
Successfully managing multiple tasks across multiple projects

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Written and spoken technical fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Proficient in creating web content in Microsoft SharePoint
Ability to work cooperatively in a project team environment
Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision
Aptitude for or knowledge of engineering concepts, subjects, or instrumentation
