Employee Relations and Investigations Specialist, Mid Key Role:
Support theinvestigationsprocessinvolving internalpoliciesand allegations of employee misconduct, including potential violations oftime and expense charging,inadvertent information exposure,data breaches and spills, discrimination, harassment, and workplace violence,as well asother criminal or civil laws that could require disclosures to the Federal Government or third party. Work withcolleagues andaligned in-house attorneys to track and maintain the flow of investigations from intake to the final disposition phase. Collaborate and consult with Human Resource business partners and other internal teams to resolve escalated employee relations, contractual, and compliance inquiries across all segments and business locations. Provide support and direction tothebusiness partnersand other internal teams by providingpolicyguidance and interpretation and provide analytical support for HRpolicydevelopment, includingpoliciesand practicesrelatedto disciplinary actions, performance, compliance, and other matters. Maintain responsibility for developing and implementing actions to address gaps or areas requiring attention for the firm, including workstreams, reviewing investigations and DAC cases, disciplinary action reports,or otherdata sources to identify trends. Develop and facilitate training to internal and external delivery staff on topicsrelatedto employee relations, ethics,policies, and investigative processes.This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience in HR
-Experience in supporting employee-related investigations within HR or Employee Relations
-Experience with developing or delivering client education and training programs
-Experienceacting asa trusted advisor to leaders, peers, and employees with a consultative approach
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Knowledge of HR technologies, including HRIS or Case Management Tool
-Ability to work independently and utilize resources to problem solve a variety of complex, highly sensitive people issues
-Ability to prioritize work in fast paced environment
-HS Diploma or GED and 3 years of experiencein HR, or bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in HR
Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information and data from multiple sources and summarize investigative findings in writing clearly and concisely
-Abilityto verbally present investigative findings and respondto questions clearly and concisely
-Ability to demonstrate flexibility and maintain focus while managing changing demands and priorities
-Experience with WorkDay
-Active SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified
-Professional (SHRM-SCP) or equivalent Human Resources certification
The proposed salary range for this position in Coloradois 55,000 to 80,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
