This position reports to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner or their designee; is located in Banbury, UK. Responsibilities will include day to day administrative duties inclusive of UK processes related to the functions of Payroll, Recruitment and Onboarding. Works closely with the global HR team and provides support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
Maintain accurate digital copies of employees' records.
Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing eligibility checks and onboarding.
Assist with performance management procedures.
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
Support other assigned functions.
Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
Other duties as assigned by the Senior Human Resources Business Partner.
Education and Work Experience:
Level 5 CIPD qualification in Human Resources is essential.
2 years of experience as an HR coordinator (essential).
Effective HR administration and people management skills.
Exposure to payroll practices.
Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
Understanding of GDPR and data privacy issues
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time sensitive situations.
Work well within a team environment with personnel at all levels.
A sympathetic approach to your work colleagues and an ability to integrate within a group environment.
A can-do positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential.
Equipment and Applications:
Solid computer knowledge, preferred experience in Microsoft Office products. and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Experience in Bamboo HR would be beneficial.
Work Environment Physical Demands:
An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional domestic travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
