FordHarrison LLP is seeking a Talent and Recruiting Coordinator in its Atlanta office. The Talent and Recruiting Coordinator supports the recruitment and development of lawyers firm-wide, including entry-level and lateral attorney orientation and integration, career growth, professional development (training, mentoring, retreat) programs, and any other projects as needed. The Talent and Recruiting Coordinator reports to the Talent and Recruiting Partner/General Counsel. This is a non-exempt position and is fully on-site. Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Attorney Recruitment, Hiring and Onboarding
• Support the attorney interview process and provide support for the callback interview
process.
• Assist with and/or coordinate the onboarding and integration processes for new
lawyers, including but not limited to, sending pre-arrival communications, scheduling
orientation programs, preparing orientation materials, etc.
• Assist in planning the summer associate program, including but not limited to,
planning events, coordinating arrival dates, sending pre-arrival communications,
scheduling orientation programs, assisting with assignment and evaluation collection, etc.
• Coordinate the Fall On-Campus Recruiting process.
Career Growth and Talent Development
• Support the firm’s various ongoing initiatives, including but not limited to, the Year
One Associate Development Program, the formal associate and partner mentoring
programs, and any other program implementation for attorneys firm wide.
• Assist with the annual competency-based associate performance evaluation
process. Serve as a liaison to the Office Managing Partners to help manage these
evaluation meetings.
• Assist with managing the current on-line and other firm resources (e.g., Practical
Law/Westlaw, Bloomberg, PLI).
• Assist with the professional department’s budgeting process and the approval of
professional development expenses, as needed.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
•Minimum of four (4) years of administrative experience in a law firm, professional
services or corporate environment.
•Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite and/or related
software. Knowledge of viDesktop platform a plus.
•Excellent interpersonal, organizational (written and oral) and problem-solving skills.
•Good judgment, a professional demeanor and presentation.
