The Human Resources/Recruiting team has an immediate need for a Recruiting Coordinator at our headquarters located in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
The Recruiting Coordinator
assists the SPA Recruiting Team with all facets of the recruitment process. This individual will gain experience with the full recruitment lifecycle. In addition, the selected individual may eventually have the ability to transition into a full-time Technical Recruiter position.
The Recruiting Coordinator
will:
Initiate background checks on new employees and provide results to Recruiting Manager. They will also notify Recruiters and Hiring Managers of any potential issues with the new hire.
Draft Offer Letters to candidates, following established approval processes.
Provide creative support for hiring events and recruiting programs as needed.
Ensure completion and compliance of all on-boarding requirements prior to new hire start dates.
Prepare New Hire folders/packets in electronic and hard copy format.
Create and post job requirements into SPA's ATS, iCIMS, as-needed.
Assist Recruiters with sourcing passive and active candidates on job boards, social media, and referrals.
Screen candidates to verify they meet minimum requirements and schedule interviews with Hiring Managers, as needed.
Track employee referral bonuses.
Conduct clearance verifications, as needed.
Provide metrics reporting, as needed.
Assists with candidate interviews and benefits briefings.
Other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
1 or more years of experience in a professional setting.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Outlook calendar.
Excellent written, organizational, and communication skills.
